Whiting-Turner's Sponsorship Helps CEE Forge Ahead With It's Centennial Celebration

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department is moving full-throttle into the final phase of preparations for the CEE Centennial Celebrations in April 2008. This effort was given a significant boost recently by the generous sponsorship provided by Whiting-Turner Contracting Company. As a show of support for the CEE Department, Whiting-Turner donated $25,000 by sponsoring a "Platinum" table at the Centennial Gala on Saturday, April 5, 2008.

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company blends traditional values with innovative technology to provide construction management, general contracting, design/build services, and specialty contracting on projects small and large. With headquarters in Baltimore and 26 regional offices nationwide, including local offices in Bethesda and Chantilly, Whiting-Turner is currently the fourth largest domestic general building contractor in the United States, as ranked by Engineering News Record.
